Make-up remover wipes
A bit of a different post this week, but its still a recipe so I think it counts! For years, I've tried all kinds of make-up remover wipes and they always make me break out or they don't remove the make-up very well.
A couple weeks ago, I tried a combination of witch hazel and essential oils as a toner. But I discovered that it also does a good job of removing make-up. So I put it in a small container with some water and a stack of cotton pads and thats it! I love the final product! You can change the oils for whatever your skin needs

Make-up remover wipes!
Pint jar or small container
2 TBSP witch hazel
4 TBSP or so of water
Essential oils, I used:
2 drops lemon
1 drop lavender
1 drop bergamot
2 drops tea tree
- Put the witch hazel, essential oils, and half the water into the jar or container.
- Place a stack of about 25 round cotton make-up pads into the jar.
- Press down on the pads so they all soak up the liquid
- Flip the stack over, pour in the remaining water, and close the jar.
- Thats it! They are ready to use!
Note: the oils above are what I make for my teen daughter. I add 1 or 2 drops of frankincense and 1 drop of copaiba to mine.
